This contemporary extension to a semi-detached dwelling aims to address the existing garden, enhancing the relationship between the rear most domestic spaces and the long, lush site. The two-storey form twists away from the rear building line to face and engage with the garden, using a central courtyard to mediate between the existing and proposed structures. The kitchen / utility, dining and entertaining space is located at ground floor level with an additional master bedroom with changing area and ensuite situated above. Materials are contemporary in nature – rough, dark grey render and smooth honey-toned pressed metal wall panels and window frames to provide contrast.

Planning Permission was granted in October 2019, Fishamble Architects are now preparing tender documentation.
